The NECO NC50 brings proper supermoto styling and big-bike features to the 50cc market, making it a fantastic choice for younger riders looking for their first geared motorcycle.
At its heart is a 50cc four-stroke, single-cylinder DOHC engine producing 3.2kW, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and Bosch electronic fuel injection. Unlike your typical 50cc scooter, the NC50 gives you a proper clutch and gears, making it a great introduction to riding a motorcycle before progressing onto something larger.
The specification is impressive for a 50cc machine, with upside-down front forks, rear monoshock suspension and hydraulic disc brakes front and rear. Full-size 17-inch wheels with a 90/80 front and 120/70 rear tyre give it the stance and feel of a much bigger supermoto.
You also get LED lighting and indicators, a fully digital dashboard, electric start and a low 790mm seat height, all wrapped up in sharp race-inspired supermoto styling.
With a restricted top speed of around 30mph, the NC50 can be ridden from 16 years old with the appropriate licence and CBT, while giving new riders the experience of a proper geared motorcycle.
